ERROR MSGThe Reason for our founding  the NAROA

     For several years now herpetoculture has come under attack by  several  local and state governments . Also joining the attack are  groups like the HSUS, API, and RSPCA.  Their reasons are built on unwarranted fear and  propaganda.  They are calling for a ban on  private persons keeping reptiles. And let's not forget PETA.

     The  PETA  agenda  regarding  pets is  that   nobody should own an animal of  any kind and let them  all go free.

     While such a goal may sound noble on paper, in all seriousness it is, "The worst  idea in the long sad  history of  bad  ideas."  The damage to the earth's ecosystem would be staggering.  Also, while the laws these groups are calling for are a very important issue, it is only one of the reasons why the NAROA was founded.
