| February 1, 2001 + Thursday + 1:43 am I won't dwell too much on this well known fact that guys are assholes. I knew that already. It's just that every so often I am reminded of this tidbit of information. BUT anyway, on to something else. I came home really discouraged tonight only to be cheered up with a nice surprise package for me. The card inside read "Hi Kristin...seems like you've really missed your Siamese Dream cd...hope this will It came from Camel. So condsiderate, ne? What a nice friend! A thoughtful gesture although I bet I would eventually find my lost cd if I really cleaned up my room, but it's okay though. :) February , 2001 + 3 Saturday + 6:41 pm camel-merlot, I broke 2 nails going bowling tonight. I haven't been bowling in almost 10 years. You guys missed out today. This afternoon, I fell right smack on the ground on Taraval street. I lost my balance as I got out [because I stepped on uneven ground with high shoes] of M's car and wooooooosh---collapsed on the ground. Yes, and you know what friends do when they see another friend fall--they laugh and tease. Yes, they do :) But knowing me, I don't care about those things. I wasn't embarrased. Today was too nice and sunny to be embarrased anyway. Today, the plan was to have a mini-road trip to Santa Rosa to visit Kelly's friend but plans were changed and there was no more road trip, so S, M, Kel and I just hung around the city. It was a hot day today. I loved it. The weather forecast promises "tank top weather" for the next few days. Woohoo! We ended the day [minus S because he fell prey to icky sinus problems so he was dropped off at home] sitting on the hill-y, sandy, forest-y area by the cliffhouse overlooking the beach, talking, thinking and singing songs [well Kel and I at least]. I'm craving a baked potato with sour cream, a tiny bit of butter and loads of parmesan cheese.
Lucky me, I had ginger cake with pumpkin ice cream 2 times this week. Tonight and Wednesday night. I got Kelly to start craving it too. Heh-heh-heh, bad influence I am, I know. :) Everyone go to Park Chow. It's on 9th Ave, in between Lincoln and Irving. You can't miss it. I also recommend the tangerine and ginger cooler. It's a yum yum drink. Refreshing ne! Y'know what sucks? I go through bottles of L'eau D'issey because that stuff does not adhere to my skin. It goes away so quickly that I need constant re-charges so I can smell dainty all day. Sometimes I lug a bottle of it in my bag. I love that stuff so much that I don't mind forking over $60/bottle every 3-4 months. Yep, I'm a shameless Issey Miyake fiend. Y'know what else sucks? Boys. Mind games. I'm not necessarily pointing my finger at anyone, but I'm just reminded of this constantly. I hate them. Things just have to be more complicated when they wear turtlenecks. I like it when guys wear I'm sleepy. Who has a crush on me? Put me out of my misery and reveal yourself please!!! [last night I got one of those "someone has a crush on you" emails from crushlink.com February 5, 2001 + Monday + 6:30 pm This afternoon at school, I was seated outside in front of the student union with some friends at the J-Kool table [a JSA-sponsored club] when this black turtleneck'd guy approaches the table. I was thinking to myself "Hey cool, he's gonna sign up to join the club!", but no. Instead he goes up to me and asks if I'd be ...and I thought he wanted to join J-Kool...hehehehehe. My friends tell me I should go for it. Me, a model? Yeah right pissant! I think it was my bright orange hair that did it. Wait till I tell Jericho about this! I'm so hungry. Hungry like the wolf. Grass jelly tapioca drink sounds yummy right about now. What I really want is to re-do my layout again. Should I?
February 8, 2001 + Thursday + 8:00 pm Can I be blunt? I may disgust many of you vegetarians out there [I understand....and I actually was a vegetarian for a year but it didn't work out because I like cow-meat, dammit] but I like my steak red and bloody. ::drools:: That's what I had yesterday at Kelly's birthday dinner-get-together. How can people eat it well done? Yuck. That man that plays sultry jazz sounds from his saxophone downtown was playing on Market street yesterday. He makes walking downtown at night a very pleasant experience. I guess he moves from street to street although I've seen him more Ok, I should be extra lucky again. Remember I said I had ginger cake twice last week? How about twice in one day?!!! On Tuesday I went there twice...lunch and then dinner. I went there again TODAY for lunch, but I didn't get the cake [gasp!!]--that's a first! Why? Because Jericho is coming over tonight and we're gonna go there for sure tomorrow, so there. The cold wind is very drying on my epidermis. I like medium-rare prime rib. I left my lip gloss at home today. Ok byebye. | |
