November 18, 2001 + Sunday + 10:13 pm

I was driving on the freeway last night about 3:30 am when I saw a bright light shoot downward from the sky then disappearing. My eyes did a double take. A couple minutes later I saw another one but smaller. It kind of scared me at first because I've never seen one before. I was actually anticipating some sort of explosion from the ground as it landed.

walking around sans clothes//I'm finally back. No, I haven't been anywhere. I was busy moving to a new place in Sunset and I just got my computer set up today. Things are going swell. I'm actually living alone at the moment. I don't have a roomate [yet], and I like the place I'm in. 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, halogen track lighting.

ERROR MSGIt's so nice to just leave my place and walk down the street to [the mini chinatown area of Irving] and just get something to eat or get something I need, whether it's chap stick from Walgreens or grass jelly tapioca drink. My mom found it particularly exciting that my place is just a couple minutes walk away from a housewares store that sells gadgets and such that are really cheap.

And I have "cherry", my electric guitar to keep me company among things.

There are some things that I still need which I'll prolly get tomorrow:

-scotch tape
-clorox bleach

I'm having that feeling where I want to change my layout again. Dum de dum de dum.

Anyway, I really like that guy in the Jetta TV ad that tries to stop a wedding. He reminds me of James Spader.

which leads me to this:

kristin's list of 80s teen film hotties:

-James Spader
-Andrew McCarthy [the 2 still being hot today]
-John Cusack
-Matthew Broderick
-Eric Stoltz

I have some halloween pictures that I will post up one of these days...

November 21, 2001 + Wednesday + 7:18 am

My eyes sting. That irritating burn from inadequate amounts of sleep and waking up too early.

that wasn't the prize//I can't say good morning because I woke up so tired at 6am. It's gonna be a long day, huh camel? Although immediately after school and your job-thing-a-majig we can go to our respective chambers and sleep and be oink oink lazy.

How appropriate, it's Wednesday too. The infamous "oink oink" day that dominated the springtime. Heh heh :)

ERROR MSGI am so damn proud of myself. My room is absolutely clean and tidy. I spent hours yesterday putting the last bits of junk away and sorting out the stuff I don't want. I found out that I've lost a few things during the moving process--little things like some matches from fun restaurants I've eaten at this year--my "collection" not being as cool as Winnie'sERROR MSG ;) But at least I still have my Foreign Cinema ones. That was a fun Tuesday night in January, a night when I've finally concluded that I absolutely loved champagne.

I'm becoming quite curious of those silicone boob inserts that you stick inside your bra. They've been around for years now and although I'm happy with what I've got [cuz flat is where it's at! hahaha, huh, CynERROR MSG!] I wonder what those feel like when worn. Has anyone tried them before? Have they popped out in public places? I'd give them a try.

November 24, 2001 + Saturday + 1:49 pm

ERROR MSGI woke up so hot today [1:15pm---then again the last time I saw the clock before I crashed was 5am] because I forgot to lower my portable heater settings. Well, at least it's better than waking up in a cold room.

It hailed a few minutes earlier. Now the sun is peaking out!

A couple friends and I decided to go to the glas kat last night. For some reason my feet didn't kill me at the end of the night which was good considering I wore strappy, skinny 3 inch heeled sandals--which make me around 5'8". It was actually more fun than the last time I went around 3 fridays ago. I ran into people I knew, some I haven't seen in a while and some that actually said to me something along the lines of "Haven't I seen you somewhere before?" Actually this is what really happened: I was just moving to the beat w/ drink in hand, talking to Ann and I see 2 guys whispering and motioning to my direction when finally they come up and ask "you w_rk at [insert local establishment] huh?" Me [smiling, surprised I'm actually noticed from there]: yeah. Guy: you're one of the mixologists! [well, he didn't say that word, he said the more typical one that begins with letter "b"]. Now that they mentioned that, they did look familiar but I can't remember because there are a lot of people at [insert local establishment] that I talked to and my memory file in my brain isn't organized properly. Actually, it wasn't that surprising that people noticed me from [insert local establishment] because the customers from [insert local establishment] would likely be seen at places with billions of asians like fridays at glas kat anyway. just like [insert local establishment].

I don't know what to do today since usually Saturdays I have class but since I'm on my short thanksgiving break [which btw, at my house was so-so. I did eat good stuff though...and so did my dogs--when no one was looking, I cut out large pieces of the slow roasted beef and gave it to them]. I guess I'll work on the rest of my project in my printmaking class and maybe run to safeway get some stuff to put in my fridge.

but now I have cravings to listen to my J [korean singer] cd that I finally got back from jericho after loaning it to him in february and play my geetar.

ciao!

November 30, 2001 + Friday + 9:31 am

Couldn't update for a while because I was away from my computer again but alas, it is back in my clutches. I'm not supposed to be up yet this early [I start class in 3 hours] but I remembered that I parked my car on the street cleaning side today so I quickly hopped in and found another parking spot. I hate street cleaning violations. $25 !! Those add up if you get a few. I think this year I've gotten maybe 3 I think and one illegal parking ticket in April, I believe, by parking right on the sidewalk/curb/driveway path because a camel insisted I park [along with his car] like that. Heh, we both got tickets the next morning.

ERROR MSGThis week, as pathetically unproductive as I was, was actually quite eventful. I have a ton of leftovers in my fridge: last night from won ton house [20th/Noriega--or maybe 21st..I forgot] and from tuesday night at this tiny thai place on 12th/clement. I have an unopened bottle of a'98 cabernet on my dining table [thanks oystercamel], the memory of wednesday night strippers at a japanese restaurant around the corner, bad porn and a whole lot of exercising and water drinking. Oh and I forgot to get my copy of fallen angels [wongkarwai] back from S when I saw him. He's had that copy of mine for over a year!

Oh yeah and I got my friend Amai-chan to move in upstairs [y'see the house i'm living in has rooms still vacant for rent], so things are gonna be peachy. As for me, I'm still living it up [and boy am I ever] living solo in my cozy 2 bedroom in law. He is planning to move in in a week or two.

My alarm is originally s'posed to go off at 10:45am today and it's an hour short of that. Can I still oink oink for one more hour?

Hmm... I will :P

ERROR MSGand wait. tomorrow is december!! holy shit!
