ERROR MSGI. The remanufacturer warrants that it will replace, repair or refund, at remanufacturers' sole option, any long block engine supplied by the remanufacturer, which is defective in material or workmanship, for three year (36 months) or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser, and may be transferred under the conditions listed below. This warranty covers vehicle engines installed in passenger vehicles (includes vans, cars and pickup trucks up to one ton). This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship and material furnished by the remanufacturer and is not an unconditional guarantee against all hazards or failures (see exclusions and limitations to Limited Warranty).

If it is determined that an engine or engine part furnished by the remanufacturer is defective in workmanship or material, the factory will allow a labor adjustment according to the most recent Chilton OEM Flat Rate Manual up to $40.00/hour. Labor allowances shall be paid only upon a determination that an engine or part supplied by the remanufacturer is defective in material or workmanship. The limited warranty period commences on the date of installation of the engine, which is the date on which the remanufactured engine is first installed in the vehicle.

A postage pre-paid warranty card, enclosed with the engine must be filled out with installation date and vehicle mileage to validate warranty. In the event the date of installation cannot be confirmed, the limited warranty period will commence on the invoice date of sale to the customer

ERROR MSGThis limited warranty is the sole and exclusive express or implied warranty made by the remanufacturer with respect to the remanufacturer's engines and parts, and is given in lieu of any other warranty. To the extent allowed by law, any and all express or implied warranties not set forth herein are waived and disclaimed, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use. Liabilities under this warranty are limited solely and exclusively to repair or replacement of engines or parts according to the terms of this warranty only. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages; therefore, some of the exclusions and limitations may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

In the event that any provision of this warranty should be or become invalid or unenforceable because of any laws, the remaining terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.

II. EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
    A. Commercial, business use, or vehicles of one ton or larger is limited to 18 month/50,000 mile parts & labor warranty.
    B. This Limited Warranty does not warrant against and does not cover damage or loss due to the following:
        1. Misuse, maintenance neglect, abuse, vandalism, abnormal operation or accidents;
        2. Defective or improper installation;
        3. Improper break-in or over-speeding;
        4. Environmental conditions, overheating or freeze cracks, if heat tab is melted, no credit until factory inspected;
        5. Burned, scored, or melted pistons;
        6. Lack of lubricants or fluids, if sludge is evident, no credit until factory inspected;
        7. Foreign material in combustion chamber or oil pan;
        8. Failures to components or parts not furnished by the remanufacturer or otherwise approved by remanufacturer for installation, or components or parts unsuitable for use with a warranted engine or part;
        9. Abnormal wear or tear or use of an engine or part for purposes other than for which it was originally intended or a change from original application;
        10. Damage to pistons or other engine components from detonation or pre-ignition;
        11. Crankshaft thrust surface worn due to defective or improperly installed clutch, torque converter or motor mounts;
ERROR MSG        12. Internal modification with aftermarket performance parts;
        13. Applications using propane, l.p.g. or turbochargers are excluded under this warranty.
        14. Over fueling or other dilution of lube oil.
    C. Marine use is warranted for 30 days, parts only, unless a Marine Engine is sold, warranty is then 2 years unlimited hours.
    D. This Limited Warranty does not cover or provide payment or reimbursement for the following consequential damages:
ERROR MSG        1. Replacement oil, antifreeze, fluids or other substances.
        2. Towing charges, vehicle rental or other substitute transportation.
        3. Diagnostic time, labor (except as set forth above) or service calls.
        4. Gaskets or other parts or items associated with but not included with warranted engine and/or parts.
        5. Transportation charges, lodging and meals.
        6. Loss of time, income, sales or profits.
ERROR MSG        7. Loss of use of vehicle.
        8. Telephone calls or communication expense.
        9. Lift, dock or storage fees.
        10. Tune-ups or replacement of belts, hoses or maintenance items.
        11. Routine, regularly required maintenance.
        12. Injury or death to persons or damage or destruction of property.
        13. Consequential or incidental damages.
    E. Class Motor Homes are covered 30 days parts only.

III. CONDITIONS TO COVERAGE

This Limited Warranty is subject to the conditions set forth below. Failure to comply with these conditions will void this Limited Warranty.

    A. This Limited Warranty is only for the benefit of the customer who owns the vehicle at the time of the remanufactured engine installation unless the following transfer procedure is followed.
