| George Van Raemdonck was a painter and illustrator of the Dutch school. Generally, he depicted genre scenes, figures, portraits, and still lifes. He was a pupil of his father, J. Van Raemdonck, of Franz Courtens, the noted Belgian landscape artist, as well as of P. Verhaert at the academy and at the superior institute of Anvers.
